**Candle Care**
We all know how to burn a candle, it's not rocket science right?!
Well, I want to share with you a few tips that will help keep your candle giving you THE BEST scent throw and to burn your candle safely. It's very important to follow these tips!
- For your initial burn, let the candle burn until there is a complete even burn across the top of your candle. Your candle has a memory. If you were to extinguish your candle before you have reached an even top, your candle will continue to burn where it had left off and will tunnel. We don't want any tunnels in our candles!
- Never EVER leave your candle burning unattended! Extinguish all and any candle when you leave the room or before going to sleep. Never leave a candle burning overnight!
- We recommend you to burn your candle a MAXIMUM of 4 hours. You can extinguish your candle, let it harden, trim your wick, and light it up again!
- Trim your wick 1/4" before every burn. I have already trimmed your wick for your first burn! This helps prevent the flame from getting too large and also cuts down any soot or black smoke that may occur.
- Follow the 2-foot rule. Don't place your candle within TWO feet of books, clothing, curtains, or any flammable objects.
- Keep your candle away from any drafts, ceiling fans, or any air vents. This keeps your flame burning steadily in the middle of your candle.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Always read the manufacture's safety instructions located on the bottom of your candle.
- Always extinguish your candle if your wick becomes too close to the side of the container. Never let your candle burn all the way to the bottom of the container. Leave 1/2" of wax at the bottom of your container. Burning until all the wax is completely gone, can result is your getting too hot can cause your container to break.
Enjoy your candle!
